Review: Oh gosh I just love love love Harry Potter. I am constantly watching and re watching the Harry Potter movies. They are such a comfort place for me. Knowing this I knew that I was going to have to read the Harry Potter books.

I knew I was going to love the whole series, as I already knew the storyline and characters from the movie, but I wanted to read the books to get more detail and see how J.K. Rowling wrote the original story.

This first book was great, I did think the beginning was a little slow, but I think that could've been due to the fact that I already knew the background of this world and these characters. So for somebody who doesn't know anything about Harry Potter, it would be very helpful and a great introduction into the world.

In this first book, I felt like a lot of the details were the same as in the movie. Now like everything there are small details that differ and I noticed it to mostly just be the character's that had more detail or different details than in the movie.

Overall, I loved it and it was a great way to still be involved with this world, but to get to consume it in a different format.
